R4 photoresist film is engineered for professional sandcarving applications where quick processing, consistent results, and high production are essential.Like R3, R4 eliminates the time-consuming and messy application of adhesive. It has been specially developed to produce repositionable sandblasting masks. The material does not adhere immediately, allowing easy and precise positioning. The adhesive in the special R4 emulsion activates only after absorbing humidity, ensuring secure bonding during blasting.At 4 mil 100 micron thickness, R4 offers the same excellent detail reproduction as thinner films, while providing additional depth resistance. This makes it ideal for deeper sandcarving applications and especially suitable for projects requiring colour infill.
